Continued use of land despite stay order by court, remedies available?
21-Jun-2023 (In Property Law)
One of family member sold his share of land to some other party before first consulting any family member, so we filed case against that and got stay order on that piece of land but the other person is using that land forcefully for agriculture for 8 years. What can we do to stop him.
Willfully disobeying the order of court is an punishable offense. You can approach the executing authority or the executive magistrate of the area sp or any other senior police officials who are bound to enforce and comply with the orders of the court.
Hope this might be of some help to you.

this is needed that what was exactly said into the stay order if stay was granted in the form of status quo and at the time of stay you were in physical possession then you can first complaint to ssp and then can move for apex court to contempt petition
