Claim on paternal property. How to proceed ?

I'm elder son of my family.I stay away from paternal home as I serve in defense.Recently due to domestic issues I have threatened to no right on my paternal property by my father.I have invested money to build my father home.now I have no assurance that I can stay at my home or not .Kindly guide what can I do?
You will have to show the proof of the payment made by you in the said construction of the house. Also, you need to look into the registration of the property whether it is on his name or in your name. Also, if the property was built on ancestral land, then you can claim the cost of the construction as well as your share in the said property.
