Can we challenge the jurisdiction of a court

Can we challenge it in Ara court that Rohtaas Court is not a valid jurisdiction to decide partition on my ancestor Land ??.

yes. as a principle of law you can challenge the jurisdiction of any court to hear your case. you will need to file an application under order 7 rule 11 of the civil procedure code asking for rejection of the plaint.

Move an application under 07-11 to reject the plaint for want of jurisdiction, which would help you to dismiss the case without actually fighting it, there can be other grounds which which you may take

In land/property related matters jurisdiction lies within the local limits of court in which the property is situated.
No other court can decide the matter.
You can challenge the jurisdiction.

Yes. The Jurisdiction of a Court can always be challenged. In fact, you can go ahead and challenge the entire suit filed by the opposite part, claiming Jurisdiction as a limitation on the trial of such a suit.
