Can uncle claim half part of our property

My father has a building on roadside, living & running his business for 20 years. Same size plot is also there behind that. My uncle is claiming our built house half part, where we are living. & has filed a case. What is solution

what case has been filed by your uncle needs to be discussed,does this property belongs to your father is it a self acquired property or a family property??Therefore if it is a self acquired property then your uncle has no right in the same.You should also move to the civil court and file a declaratory suit against him along with damages and a criminal case can also be filed for harassment and threatening.

If the property is purchased by your father then your uncle has no right in it and he can't claim any share in the property.
But if the property is an ancestral property then your uncle have equal share in the property.
