Can tenancy rights be surrendered without consent of cohabitor?

My grand father rented a flat 70 years earlier. He died in early age. My grand mother lived in same flat untill i aged 15 and passed away. I am living in same flat currently with my father. Now my father wanted to surrendere tenant rights but i dont wanted to. Can my father surrender tenancy without my concern or noc?

In this case you need to look upon whether the tenancy agreement is signed in your name or in the name of your father. If it is in the name of both of you than you would have to look upon that a new agreement will be made and the old agreement will be dismissed.
