Can spouse claim share in property owned in joint name during divorce

y daughter purchased flat jointly with husband.y daughter paid full amt of flat.My daughter is cheated for include of husband name. Now dispute arise and husband is asking 50% share for divorce for which he has notcontributed any amt. please advise.
Your wife is a joint owner of apartment and hence has 50% share in the said flat. She can claim 50%share in property in the vent of divorce and obtain an injunction restraining you from selling the said flat.
