Can seller sign on property registration rather than putting stamp
14-Dec-2023 (In Property Law)
Sir at the time of property registration, seller of propritorship firm forget to carry stamps pad. Can he write his firm details through pen?
You are a sole propritorship so your own signature should suffice, unless the state you are in has a specific rule to that effect. If you let me know the state, i can check and get back to you.
It is highly unlikely that such a rule would exist though, certainly not an issue in west bengal.

If such is the case then the proprietor can write the same on a non judicial stamp paper provided he signs the same in full and puts the company seal by his own handwriting in block letters . Other proprietor should also sign .
