Can parents refuse to give my share in property if I marry a muslim

29-Mar-2023 (In Property Law)
My grand father Loganathan has brought the 1 1/2 ground property in chennai. When is going to die he gave the 1 ground of his property her 1st daughter and 1/2 ground to his wife vaduvambal. Vaduvambal gave her property fully to her elder only son govindaraj. but, her two other daughters put a case against it, but they failed. Atlast govindaraj got the fully property, after that govindaraj has built a building for three floors. Govindaraj has one daughter and one son. and am his daughter. Now, am in love with a muslim guy. But my parents are not accepting it, for that they are saying that, if i leave the home went with him or if i marry other than hindu religious type marriage, i wont be getting the property. If i put a case fightting for the property, will i win and get the property???? Thanks in Advance... Will be grateful if i get a good suggestion Regarding this... Thank you again...

After your father Govindaraj acquired this property from his mother, it becomes his own and absolute property.
He only has full rights in the property.
He can decide about transferring the property to anyone of his choice and desire.
He need not take the consent or NOC from his wife or children for transferring the property to anyone of his choice.
Likewise if he decides to not to give any share to you, then it is his decision, you cannot dispute it nor your cse in a court of law seeking your share in the property is maintainable because you do not have any rights in the property even if you marry the groom of your father's choice.
You should understand the fact that even your paternal aunts could not succeed in their case against him in the court o f law, hence you should understand that you are not eligible even to file a case in this regard.
