Can NOC given by sister challenged after 10 years

23-Apr-2023 (In Property Law)
my father died in 2004 and had a property, we are 8 siblings, 4 male and 4 female. My father died intestate and we had the property documents registered in the name of all 8 (7/12 registration). in 2005 we had taken NOC from all the sisters. Now in 2016 one of the sister has filed a case in court claiming title to the property. Can she do it as its been more than 10 years. Secondly what is the validity of the NOC that we have received from the sisters. Please suggest

According to recent Supreme Court Judgment, if the father has died before September 2005 then the daughters will have no share in the self acquired property of the father. When your father passed away in 2004 then your sisters will have no share in self acquired property of your father.
