Can my sister claim the property from me, its ancestral property?
01-Jan-2023 (In Property Law)
my father dies 20 years back. we have some ancestral property. there is no will my father left. can my sister claim the property
Yes she can. However there are a number of contributing factors to watch out for which can also deny her that right. Complete facts of the matter are necessary for answering this query. For example it is to be seen if the property is really ancestral. There is alarming confusion amongst lawyers as to the definition of "ancestral property".
If father dies 20 years back then limitation will be bar so after 20 years no claim by sister in ancestral property .please confirm status of property at this time? and also find out any transaction regarding ancestral property with any sister in last years if any?
