Can my father remove my name from the joint property

We bought a huda plot in aug 2016 as co-owener with father now in june 2013 he requested court to remove my name in registry.can it be possible because after this much time we are not getting enough investment proof. Can my name removed i am also having phycical pasusation of house.

it is not that easy to remove your name, as your father has to file for Civil suit.
now a days, the law exist that whose name is there in the sale deed is the lawful owner

As a joint owner of the property, your name cannot be removed from property records without your consent. Your father will require a relinquishment deed or a gift deed or a sale deed in his favour, from you, in order to successfully remove your name from the records in the Registry.
