Can I use my wife's money to construct house in my name

Capital gain a/c in the name of wife. House is registered in my name. Can I use capital gain withdrawal amount to construct house...? If yes/no. Plz tell me the reason?.
If your wife is willing to invest the amount in making the house then you may use it. You can use the money of your wife in constructing a house. it is a family matter and if she denies you cannot do much in it as well because she is the signing authority in it.
