05-May-2023 (In Property Law)
We are Sunni Muslims and my elder brother is serving life imprisonment since 11 years under section 364 (A) and 120 (B) and the criminal case and F.I.R. happened in Indore, Madhya Pradesh and 6 months before he was transferred to Sagar, Madhya Pradesh. Our hometown is Wardha, Maharashtra and my elder brother who us lodged in jail wants to sell his house situated in Wardha, Maharashtra to meet his financial needs and he is married too and have 2 daughters. As I am his younger brother and looking after his family and case matters can you please tell me is it possible for him to execute sale deed

As he is in jail he cannot perform legal requirements for sale. You can take power of attorney from your brother to act on behalf of your brother and sign the requisite documents for such sale on behalf of your brother.
