Can I claim share in my maternal grand father's property
19-Jan-2023 (In Property Law)
can i claim on maternal grand father's property which is occupied by him self as he still alive and my mother is died. he added maternal grand mother and maternal uncle's name into their property that shown in VF 7, VF 6, VF 8A.
If your grandfather is dead then you cannot claim his property. If he dies without a WILL, then you can claim the property as your mothers legal heir.
As your mother died before 5 years then you have right to claim property of your grandfather.
You will get 1/3 right in your grandfather property.
