Though it is two different case, since the parties are same the court asked to settle both the case at a time. As your wife is in abroad regarding her job so it is not possible for here to come for this.

You can get a authorization letter from your wife and appear in the mediation center.

First of all if yo have purchased the property by a registered sale deed document what was the necessity to go for mediation. Who proposed the mediation? You can no doubt tak on behalf of your wife in meditation but it will be she who has to signe in the the papers agreeing to the conditions of the mediation and settlement thereon.
You can get a power of of attorney deed in your favor for this purpose specifically.

Yes, you can mediate on behalf of her. For this, you should be appointed as her powe of attorney. This can be executed while she is abroad. She needs to obtain the signature on GPA from Indian embassy of her place of residence. After that it needs to be duly notarised at chennai. During mediation process, you can produce this GPA and it will be allowed.

sir,
yes, you can very well appear before the mediation centre on behalf of your wife too subject to the production of Power of Attorney from your wife authorising you to represent on behalf on her in this issue before the legal forums. once, the matter is setttled, then for the purpose of passing mediation award, you have to submit the affidavit sworned by her.
