If u give him the right to sell under your general power of attorney and that power of attorney is legally valid in all aspects like duly registered, proper court fees is paid then attorney holder can sell the property without your presence.

The answer to your query is, yes a GPA holder can sell your property and your presence is not required at the time of sale deed he can do all on your behalf, but only when if GPA is regarding that property and in GPA you have specificly agreed to the clause that your attorney holder can sell that particular property on your behalf otherwise he or she cannot, but you can anytime revoke that attorney by filling an application before the concerned magistrate.
