Can girl child also claim their share over ancestral property

08-Jul-2023 (In Property Law)
We have ancestral property (agriculture land) in my grandfathers name expired in 1995. Legal heir are 2 brothers n 6 sisters. Are all sisters eligible for their share in property as father died before 2005. Is relinquish ment deed necessary to sell the property if they don't have a share. ( As per Hindu law)

NO.. a relinquishment deed is not necessary but however a partition deed is very much necessary to be executed and with proper consent with all the siblings. The deed has to be registered if not there will be no validity.
