Can daughter claim share in the father's property

Grandfather had 7 children. 5 Daughter and 2 sons. Grandfather died in 1969. 1st daughter marred in 1960. Now the property was divided between brothers. Now the 1st daughter is asking for share in the property. Is she entitled to claim? The property is ancestral.

In case of an ancestral property every legal heir has right on the ancestral property and the property cannot be divided among the brothers. Daughters also have right on the ancestral property and can claim share in the property. Ancestral property will be distributed according to the Hindu Succession Act.
