You have right in ancestral property of your grandfather and you can claim a share from it. And you have no right in your father's house hold property named and acquired by him. As it is self acquired one

You do not have a right in your mother's property which she has inherited from her father. She has right to give it any one as per her wish. As far as your father's prperty is concerned you have a right if he dies intestate under Hindu Succsession Act. You cannot claim share during your father's life time. If your father wants to sell his property you have no right to restrain him from selling the same as it is his self acquired property.
