Can 1 property be registered on the name of 2 people

I am a house wife. My husband is working in shipping industry. My husband is planning to purchase a house and wish to register the same in both of our name [ Myself and Husband's name ]. Can you please suggest me is there is any problem in this joint registration...?
No..There is no problem for the joint registration.It can be registered on both of your name.But please make sure that the documents are genuine.Before purchasing it get the original of the document and verify it including E C.

There is Absolutely no problem in purchasing and registering a property jointly in your name and in the name of your husband. Only thing is that whenever you sell the same property, it can also be done only jointly.
