Buyer wants to cancel sale agreement want his money back what can I do

Im hindu-maratha, We have sell our property to a buyer and its been 2 years not he is delaying this agreement made in 2014. He has given the token amount and asking to give the money back after 2 years of agreement. It was mentioned that he has to complete the agreement within 6 months, however he kept on delaying it. And now after 2 years he says we want to cancel agreement and want money back or else he will send notice through court for not giving money, we are ready to sell the property to him and want to get read of our financial issues. Please suggest me what can be done.
Your case is very clear and strong. You need not to worry as the agreement clearly specify that within 6 months one has to complete the contract. Howver lot of time passed so to be on safer side you may issue a legal notice stating all the facts and failure of otherside. You be on defense side do not initiate let the other side intiate whatever they wish.
