Builder not giving possession even after full payment, please advise

Dear sir, I purchased a plot 900 sqryrds in hyderabad, paid full money and registered. But the land lord (seller) hasn't given possession yet. It has been around a year now, someone else is claiming that property. Can I file a case against the seller for refund? so that I can cancel my registration. Pls advise. Thanks
Yes u can file a case. U have many options consumer court, civil and criminal both remedy and if the builder has received the money he is bound to give u possession. At the time of purchase u must have signed an agreement and with respect to that agreement the builder can be made to provide u the possession.
