Brother is asking for share in the property

My mother purchased a property and made the documents in our name. Property is in the name of three persons. Me, my mother and brother. Now bother is asking for share and division of the property.
You have not stated what is your objection to give a share to your brother. if the property is capable of division. whether the documents of the property were made in your names for name sake or for the three of you to possess and enjoy? If you mother did not intend your brother to own , possess and enjoy the property then you have a reason to oppose. Otherwise you have no option but to agree to the sharing of the property by metes and bounds,

Your mother has all the right to do anything. She can transfer to any body, to sons, or to daughters or to anybody.
