Bought land from a person now his brother is asking for share?

10 year ago we took one land from person 1( at village which is having no patwati data, ) we paid full amount. we dont have papers from registry office , but we have formal paper( way in which people from village do business of their belongings) now brother of that person 1 is asking for his part . and now we know that he is having 1 brother . how to proceed?

you must appoint a lawyer and issue legal notice to him. you should also inform this fact to your local police in writing with all correspondence. you can prosecute these two persons by initiating civil and criminal proceedings against both of them before court of law.

What does ur sale deed say ? Ask the paper from RTI -2005 Act and see the Sale Deed. If it is properly registered then u may ask the concerned person to challange the said deed . What is identity proof to show that he is his real brother .
