Booked a flat builder is a fraud how to cancel my booking

I have booked a flat in 2014 in Bangalore by giving 5 lakh down payment . I was told that I will be given procession by 2015 Dec . Later when I visited the site project for that building has not yet started . I have learned that builder is cheating people by giving false schemes like no pre emi till procession n builders cheque are bouncing for emi . Construction quality is poor . When I am trying to cancel the flat they are giving excuses . Don't answer calls . I spoke to md , as per him he is not responsible . Actually no one is answering . I am worried. How to cancel get my money .

You can send them a legal notice demanding full refund of the monies paid and for cancellation of the sale. If they do not respond to the notice, then we can file a suit against them.

You have both civil and criminal relief.
You can file cheating case against the MD and the company for duping you with such schemes.
Also you can file consumer complaint in the consumer forum and pray for appropriate order. Such as refund, penalty, possession etc.

Dear Sir/Madam, you have every right to get your hard money from the said builder, you have to issued a legal notice to the said builder to cancel the said booked flat and to demand for refund the advance amount which you have paid to the said builder, it is the only way to get your hard money as legally.
