You made a mistake by not getting receipt for payment of Rs. 20,000/- it in writing. You have no proof now. The only remedy left to you that you have continuous possession over the land for 20 years. You can claim right by putting a representation before the Collector, praying him to allot that land to you considering the long standing cultivation. Since this is a complicated issue, you better contact me through Lawroto. They will give you my Mobile No.

you can file a partition suit before the competent jurisdiction in your place and get your share by fixing meets and bounds.Since you along with relatives are in join possession, you can only pay rs 200/- as court fee.
