AFNHB Dehradun project for defence personnel delayed what to do

Hi, I am from defence background.In 2006-7 my sibling who is in navy applied for AFNHB Dehradun where they were promised to handover the finished project by 2010-11.But after repeated attempts and frequent perusal we are still waiting for this project which seems to be unending.We are services personal with limited salary and feel cheated that the hard earned money is getting siphoned away in the aging walls of this shabby project.Please advise as to how can we dispose of the property and sue the builder.

first send legal notice through lawyer and ask monthly rent for delayed period. If builder will not act as per notice then file case im consumer court for deficiency in service and ask compensation for mental harassment.

You will first have to send a legal notice and thereafter file a consumer complaint. That will be the cheapest and most effective remedy. Unless, I see the documents, I cannot advise on how you can sell the property, because I don't think you would be the owner yet and you would be a mere allottee
