How can I claim my right over my fathers property

my father had lost since when I was not born he had not came back till yet and relatives of my farther and even my grandmother and grandfather had not accepted me as a grandchild. so my father had made a property which is now in a possession in my grandmother but legally property is in the name of my father. now my mother want to take legally right on that property as I am daughter. can I have right in that property of my father? whether I have to proof that I am daughter of him and I have legal and complete right to take over that property ? its very urgent and important
