False dowry case filed by wife what defense can we take

I am muslim, my brother married on 25/3/16 n tallaq on 20/9/16 bcoz she was hulilating,insulting and she told that after she get pregnant she will never return to me and will file maintenance case.so to avoid further trouble my bro gave her tallaq .On 27/9/16 his ex wife filed a complaint in police about dowry. v have not taken any dowry. but she produced fake phtos of her wearing 10 tolas gold and the bank loan her father had taken.they are asking us to pay huge compensation or false cases against whole family. how to deal with false dowry case.plz help.she couldnt file 498 as she was studying msc so she stayed at her moms place.
If the FIR is registered against you and the family I strongly recommend you to file anticipatory bail application without any delay. Meanwhile collect all the evidence and proofs to support your statements and file Quash petition in High Court. Addressing to the fake photographs, if your ex-wife submits photographs as evidence in court then you can request court to get CFSL analysis of the photographs. CFSL report will show the genuinity of the photographs. Stay Safe.
