What is the time duration to receive a claim amount if we have filed

In 2015 my father met with an accident he is nomore now, we file a case against a bus driver and now its being 4 months there are no contact with the owner or the date in court. I just want to know how much time it takes to receive a claim amount if we have filed a case
There are two courses of action available. One would be compensation from the Motor Accidents and Claims Tribunal and the other would be the criminal proceedings under the Indian Penal Code. Your claim amounts will be awarded to you in the first proceeding, i.e. by the MACT. The amount of time taken by the court to make such an award differs from jurisdiction to jurisdiction.
