No proper investigation in death of grandson in motor accident case

My grandson ( my daughter's only child)was murdered by causing motor cycle accident in Ranchi by his father and uncle as per our doubt as my daughter marital relationship is strained for 16 years. Police hushed up the case. Offending Car has not been apprehended. Motor cycle has been released by police from Police station itself without forensic test. I approached all highest police authorities in Ranchi. CID investigation is going on. IO CID is not properly investigating the case He is helping the accused. Can I approach the High Court for CBI Investigation. Kindly advise with chances of success. If more details are required I can mail them. Please provide email address.
Yes you can first file a case in the trial court under section 156(3) to the magistrate or you can also file a writ petition of mandamus in the Hon'ble High court directing the officers to conduct the inquiry properly.
