Motor accident happened 3 years back, can case be opened now?

My husband had an accident as Rickshaw came from wrong side..he himself got to the police. This was 3 yrs back and now we got call from police any this case...how . Can we speedily close thiscase...
You need to speak to the police that why have they summoned you in this case. the matter was 3 years ago so the matter by now should had gotten over. But it is better you go to the police and check out regarding your summoning by the police

Ask the Police why they have taken 3 years for this small case which can be heard in the same year itself and is your Husband had major injuries ??? whether the richshaw wala demanded money for his loss, etc several questions are related to this. It can not a speedily closed or something like that the Court will decided. the same but.
