Lady hit us from behind and now asking for money else will file case

4 months back some lady hits my brother in law bike back side and fallen down(Bike is registered on my name) and on spot her husband came in auto(He is autowala) and take the bike keys and demanding my brother in law to take her to hospital. He scared and take her to hospital and after 5 days again autowala came to our house demanding 2 Lakhs, they spent on her treatment. We said like we will not pay anything if you want you can go to police station. Now they register a complaint in police station and polices also with out enquire any thing they are saying like ours is the mistake. What to do
Let the police register FIR in case your vehicle is insured nothing is wrong, In case they have any claim let them prove in the motor accident tribunal they cannot ask for money from you as this will amount to extortion.
