How to re register/ dispose the vehicle in Chhattisgarh ?

I have a motor bike, November 1997 model. Obviously the registration has expired. Registered in Haryana. Now I have been residing in Chhattisgarh since Dec 2012. How to re register/ dispose the vehicle in Chhattisgarh? It is in fully running condition, though not riding it. Please guide Thanking you,

Required Information

Name and address, Son/Wife/Daughter of
Registration number of the vehicle
Class of vehicle
Registering authority, which originally registered the vehicle.
Engine number
Chassis number (also affix pencil print).
Period of stay in the State
Period upto which motor vehicle tax has been paid.
Whether any demand for tax pending. If so, give details
Whether the vehicle is involved in any theft cases. If so,give details.
Whether any action under sections 53, 54 or 55 of the Motor Vehicle Act, 1988 is pending before any registering authority or other prescribed authority. If so, give details.
Whether the vehicle is involved in any case of transport of prohibited goods. If so, give details.
Whether the vehicle is held under an agreement of Hire-Purchase/Lease/Hypothecation. If so, give full name and address of the financier.
Procedure

Obtain necessary documents.
All related applications shall be filed before the Registering Authority.
Submit form along with other required documents and pay necessary fees.

Required Documents

No Objection Certificate (NOC) in form CMV 28 or postal acknowledgement for having sent application for issue of no objection certificate to the concerned registering authority.
Application form CMV 27.
Registration certificate (RC Book),
Tax paid certificate.
Insurance certificate
Consent of the Financier
Pollution under Control Certificate
Fees

Tax Assessment
The tax to be paid will be assessed on the basis of the age and cubic capacity of the
vehicle as on the date of migration in respect of cars and motorcycles.
In respect of light motor vehicles, which are registered subsequent to 01/04/2003,
the tax will be assessed on the basis of cost and age of the vehicle at the time of registration. Remember to produce the invoice of the vehicle before the tax assessing officer.

To pay the motor vehicle tax
You have to fill a form no. kmvt 14 for this purpose and obtain the acceptance of the tax assessing officer and pay it in the cash counter.
If the amount of tax is more than Rs 3000/ - You have to obtain a demand draft in the name of the ‘REGIONAL TRANSPORT OFFICER’ Raipur (if the place of residence falls under the jurisdiction of Raipur City) or the location of the concerned Regional Transport Office.
