How much compensation can wife claim for husband's death in accident

I'm looking for some legal advice as me and my family is a layman about all this. My sister's husband died on a bus accident on 11th march 2017. She got married on 9th December 2016. How much compensation she should get and what is the procedure. Her in law's are looking after this fact and not letting us know anything. What kind of actions we can take?
The quantum of compensation based on the amount of contribution of the person( who died in accident ) towards his family. It depends upon his age and income primarily. Other parameters are his future prospect, number of dependents etc. Police case documents, Post Mortem report, documents of Medical expenses(if any) and vehicular documents are required for claim. Please contact with any competent lawyer who will properly guide you.

Your sister must arrange few documents to move the case by herself , like the FIR Copy, charge sheet and death certificate.
