Hit case with learner's license what compensation can they ask

18-May-2023 (In Motor Accident Law)
I have a learner's driving license. I was driving under the supervision of my husband who has a license. We had an an accident with another car. We have an L board on both front and back sides. The other car tried to over take us on my left side on a curved road. I turned the car left and sides of both the cars came in contact. None of us are injured. They want us to pay 25k Rupees for the damage to their car. What is the legal stand of this if a case is filed?

In case you were driving with a valid learner’s license and under the supervision of a person holding a valid driver’s license and a L sign, then in case of an accident the insurance company of your car will compensate the loss suffered by the victim of the accident. In case of no insurance of your car then the driver and the owner of the car is liable to compensate to the victim of the accident.
