Can court issue old warrant when case is disposed

I had a n accident case in 2010. Which is disposed on 7 Dec. 2015. Case is called out. The proceedings is stopped U/Sec. 258 of Cr.P.C.(http://ecourts.gov.in). After one month, a police man called and told me that there is an earlier warrant is pending. So I need to appear in the court and the case will re open. i asked one advocate regarding this. He told me that it is just for asking money. may i know that an old warrant can be active once the case is disposed?
If the case is re opened by the court, you will receive a summons from the court to appear before the court. If you fail to comply with the court summon then a fresh warrant will be issued against you.
