Can an accident victim file FIR after a year of the incident
17-Jul-2023 (In Motor Accident Law)
One year back we have got an accident .we have been followed all traffic rules and send the patient to hospital also contact there peoples to reach hospital. In between dr. refused to take this case bcoz of police requires which was right but patients father and other peoples said they don't want to go for any police action as well as court if we take all responsibilities of all there operations. For that they pressurized us and we accepted on one demand they have to sign on 100 Rs bond which was not notariesed but was signed by Dr. it self (when we asked for notary they refused and said they have our cab in there custody and 20 peoples are thre in hospital) Hence we have been discussed with Dr. on this case where one of ASI also joined with us and he also said if both are fine then police don't have any interest to take this caseFIR. Now after 1 year they put FIR on us and says we haven't done anything for them. What shall be done?
