Bike hit by a car while it was parked, other party refusing to pay

Hey my bike got hit by a car which has no insurance when it was parked on the road. The driver was underage and drunk. I took my bike to a service center and told the car drivers father to pay for my bike for which he is not ready to pay the entire amount. I dont want to claim my insurance. What can i do to get him to pay for the damages on my bike
If you want full amount you have to make a police complaint which may be a problem to you since you dnt hve insurance. So its better you take the half payment for the damages which the boy's father is ready to give.

First of all you should file a police complaint u/s 279 of IPC and start prosecution against him as per our experience you will get instant damages without going to court. In a case, you may also file civil suit for the said damages.
