Negligence by doctors which caused infection in leg

My friend was operated tibia fracture in left leg prematurely on 3rd day after the accident which needs to be operated on 10 to 12th day.After the operation,infection starts building which slowly covered the whole leg in 20 days.And the condition was that,the other doctors we consulates after that,they straightway advised there is a high probability to ampute the leg.Then ,we moved him to other doctor.I need to what does it need to be done to register complain against the hospital.also,upto what amount I can get the compensation.A nd,how much time will it take in this process.
Immediately file a complaint against the hospital and doctors and also with MCI. Then file case in consumer Forum for negligence and claim compensation and expenses. It may take 2 to 3 year depending upon many factors. For details and or legal help you may contact me if so desire.

For Filing a complaint against the Hospital and treating doctors, first we have to examine the complete inpatient record including case notes of the treatment etc. If you are not having the complete record then you have to first sent the notice to comply with the Medical Ethics Rules Rule 7.1 and after that we can assist you in Filing the Criminal complaint and complaint for compensation and loss.
