Sir, My father allowed my cousin to start business in a shop without making any official agreement in our land and after my father died the cousin not paying any rent till 10 years even he didn't allowed us to reconstruct building in shop area as well as he is showing himself as become the owner of the property and saying everybody that nobody can evict him as he is making business in this shop for 30 years. Sir, in this case according to west Bengal tenant eviction law I found my cousin guilty and can be evicted by court order. Sir, can I claim compensation for damages for stopping of reconstruction as well prestige loss Damarage due to show himself as property owner of shop area and couldn't allow us to make any construction in our shop area.
