Want old tenants to vacate the shop. what legal action can I take ?

10-Nov-2023 (In Landlord/Tenant Law)

I have given my two shops on rent . One shop is given on rent in the year 1980 .. who gave a security desposit of rs. 10000. And second shop in the year 1987.. at that time my chidrens were very small... So for some addictional income i rented these two shops... Now that its very long tenancy .. now that my childrens have grown up and they wanted to do some business independently. But my tenants refuse to vacate shops.. i am doing business from one shop and there is also one small shop which i have given on rent . There is basement also which my wife is running a studio.

If your property is situated in delhi You have the option of filing a suit for eviction against your tenants on the ground of bona fide requirement in case the tenancy falls within the purview of the delhi rent control act
