Took land on lease and owner asking to vacate the property

29-Apr-2023 (In Landlord/Tenant Law)

hello, I have taken a property on lease for 22 months a month ago. now the landlord wants the place to be vacated. since I have all the legal documents, they are using the fact that we are involved in some kind of illegal activities on their property. there is just one line in the agreement I am concerned about. its that in the agreement, it is written that the place is only for office use. and I am running my shop on it. Is this any kind of violation?

miss use of property is only ground for vacate the said property if u have legal document and there is no illegal activity in property u can file a suite for permanent injunction before civil court for grant of injunction and there after your case will be decided on merit further the issue can be decided either resi or commercial prop

Please note that since you mention that the agreement postulates lease of property specifically for residential purposes then using it for commercial purposes might pose a problem. However, except for that, whether the lease can be terminated or not depends upon the termination clause contained therein. Consultation Advised.
