Took a property on lease which was taken on emi by landlord what to do
26-Jul-2023 (In Landlord/Tenant Law)
i have taken a property in lease for 10 years. Landlord of that property have taken a loan for that property therefore can anyone tell me about a clause which ensures that a lessee will not be evicted in the event that the landlord goes bankrupt or become defaulter.
There is no such law that lesee can not be evicted if owner goes bankrupt. You can send notice to owner to cancel the lease by taking this a ground and also claim loss if you have occurred any due to this lease .
