There was no rent agreement how to ask tenant to vacate my plot ?

I have a property in Rajasthan. The first floor of the plot we have given it on rent. Now they are denying to vacate the premises. There was no rent agreement as such. What action can i take?
You can send them a Legal Notice for Eviction of the first floor for any bonafide reason. In case they still do not leave the premises you can file a Police Complaint for Illegal Possession of the Property. You can even file a suit for eviction of the tenant if the tenant fails to reply back to the notice or is not leaving the possession of the said property.
