Tenant refusing to vacate, how to get evacuation done

22-Jan-2023 (In Landlord/Tenant Law)
I have given a shop for rent, we have not made a any agreement at the time of discussion. I have given the shop on rent on good will basis, it's been 10 years now. 6 months back I have approached him to vacate on 2 months notice but this was not written, he has agreed for the same post 2months he has refused to vacate. It's been 6months he not willing to vacate the property. I have sent legal notice recently but he is refusing to accept the legal notice also. Please suggest a way forward and also suggest can I file any police complaint in this regard? Please help.

You can send a Legal Notice to the Tenant to quit and vacate your house for your own use, if the tenant would not comply in the stipulated time period, then file a suit for Eviction of Tenant in Civil Court. but it is lengthy process of laws.
