Tenant not pay rent properly. How can i evict him?

we have given our home for rent to a man and his family but he is not paying rent properly and not paying advance deposit also. now when we ask him to leave the house he is not ready to leave. what shall i do now? we were suppose to write a contract but he has not payed deposit completely. what if i go and complain it to police?
Give him notice for vacating the premises as he is staying without leave and license.
If he doesn't vacate with in fifteen days, file Eviction Suit in the jurisdictional court.
