20-Jun-2023 (In Landlord/Tenant Law)
1. Rental agreement is not renewed for last 3 years. Do I still need to give 2 months prior notice at the time of vacating, as mentioned in the agreement? 2. i have given the notice to vacate. Can i get the rent for the months of notice to be deducted from the Security deposit.

if the rent agreement has expired then there is no need to serve the notice period, but the grounds that you stayed there and had an healthy relation with your landlord you can serve it. as you have already given the notice period you may ask the landlord that would he deduct the rent from the Security deposit or he would want you to pay the rent. it differs from landlord to landlord
