Owner is asking to vacate the house, no lease agreement. What to do?

07-Mar-2023 (In Landlord/Tenant Law)
Owner is asking to vacate the house orally from 2 months. We had no lease agreement. I had paid the rent regularly. He got transfered to this place. So he want to occupy the house. I had shifted to this house just a year back. He is threatening to give legal notice. What should i do to avoid eviction. I Want to stay for one more year. As it costed me around 20000 for shifting.

You have to approach the Rent Controller asking for an injunction against your owner. Take precautionary steps prior to your owner by approaching the Hon'ble Court as quick as possible. Here you did not mention about the rent that you were paying. as a regular civil court or a rent controller depending upon the quantum of rent.
