Mortgaged land for loan now mortgagee not returning land

Respected Sir/ Madam We are from Hindu family from Maharashtra District- Dhule The owner subject land is My Grandpa. he has borrowed ₹1.5 lakh in 2003 & the land has to handed over to A person who has given him a loan. My Grandpa has given interest yo him but now he has refused to give our Land back to us.I am active Serving Sailor in Indian Navy. Can I challenge this man in court through Indian Navy ?? If yes then how ?? Also how can I take back through proper formalities ???

have you returned the whole amount with interest or only the interest? kindly clarify the same. if you have paid the interest and not the principal amount then why will the person hand over the land papers until the whole payment is made. Secondly you serving the INdian Navy wont be of much help as Army Tribunals do not entertain Civil matters. Pay the entire amount and get an agreement signed and then get the papers back.
